Fallen Angel is a theme I have been exploring since 2018. It is a personal metaphor for positive support, an invocation for protection and a visual summons of surrounding healing light. While the concept of the series was originally intended in a specific context, as a conceptual relative to Navajo sand paintings, the idea has since expanded and evolved to address a broader spectrum. My focus and intention with these paintings has grown to encompass reaching out to any circumstance, situation or being in nature that requires restoration, rebuilding or healing, indeed, even the planet itself. They are a form of prayer, but not a plea, nor do they preach. They are reinforcements and affirmations.
